Hi,
I previously posted a message where i was having
trouble with installing software, and discovered that the
trouble stemmed from the issue that there were 2
administrator accounts on my computer; the account with
my name, and an "administrator" account. Is there any way
I can reconcile both accounts into just one, so i avoid
the installation (with other software) problems i've been
having?

In the "home user" scenario, it is BETTER to have more than one
Administrative rights level accounts. Two at least.. The fewer the better,
but I would suggest at least two.. Both password protected. Personally, I
wouldn't use either of them as everyday accounts, creating another account
for that - limited access. But that just comes from being a system admin
and watching what ANY user with admin rights is capable of destroying.

However, since most software isn't pretty in a multi-user environemtn, it
will require administration on your part. Just know that whatever is in the
"C:\Documents and Settings\All Users" directory (Particularly Desktop and
Start Menu) appears in every profile on the PC.. This helps you spread the
icons liberally. =)
