Administrator Account "Restricted"

The other night I changed the Administrator password, and set my families users up without privleliges (Kids are a little too curious). Now for some reason, my Administrator account on the computer is restricted and it won't let me log on. I have no other accounts with Admin priveliges. I know the password is correct, because if I type it incorrectly, I am asked to make sure my user name and password are correct. When I type it correctly, it tells me the account has been restricted by a user policy

I have tried the Safemode trick without a password, no luck

I have tried "cntl-alt-del" twice before logging in, no luck

I even tried putting in the Install CD hoping I could create a new Administrator logon, no luck. The program recognizes I have a account already created and requires my password, but of course the account is locked out

Are there any answers other than formatting my drive and starting over?

This happens to me too and I think it has something to do with Windows
update.

For XP Home you can only log into the Administrator account in Safe Mode, once other user accounts have been created, and you need the password, as well. You will want to create an Administrator user account, and keep your built in Administrator account for emergencies.
