Hello:

I cannot open the Event Viewer and other Adm. Tools (they open in
NotePad when I click on them). I guess some needed file has been
deleted or such. Does anyone know what I can do to rectify this
problem?

All of those are .msc files.

Read the instructions. Then get.

Yes, I noticed that there was no file association for .msc, but I did
not know what to do about it or if that was the real problem. Thank,
Wes, and I will report back.

Glad to hear it, Hans. Keep having fun.

Good thing that there are folks like Doug Knox with fixes like that
available, huh?
