Does PPT require Administrative rights for use with some of its options. I
had a user try to open a presentation from the network <and local drive>,
when it opened all of her images she inserted were gone. I then logged onto
the machine as the administrator, opened the file, and everything worked fine.

Admin rights shouldn't be necessary.

What version of PPT are you both using? If 2003, has PowerPoint on her computer
been updated (Help, Check for Updates)? That alone might solve the problem.

If not, has she linked the images or inserted them? If they're linked, what
rights does she have to the folder where the linked images reside?

Note: if it's a link problem, you generally will see a red X where the image
should be.
