My dad recently upgraded his RAM from 1GB to 4GB and found that his admin profile was corrupted at the following reboot.

First, does anybody know how installing new RAM would have corrupted the admin profile?

Second, does anybody know how one would go about creating a new admin profile when the original administrative profile is corrupted?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum..
Can you be a bit more specific about how its been corrupted..What is the computer doing or what isn't it doing..Are any error messages showing..?
What OS are is the computer running....? HAve you run any sort of anti virus/ malware tools to rule out any threats..I can't see how adding more ram would corrupt the profile..
