Administrative Problem

Since adding my daughter as a ' user' and deleting her when she left,
something happened and I ( the owner) no longer have administrative powers. I
am on the page as user with limited account. I cannot even defrag without my
administrative account and it blocks me from a lot. Can anybody help me?

Sure. Reboot the computer and as soon as the screen goes black, quickly tap
the F8 key repeatedly until you get to the advance startup options page and
select Safe Mode. Now, as long as there is no password on the
'Administrator' account, log on with that account, ( or if there is one,
hopefully you know it) then you can change your credentials in User Accounts
which can be found in Control Panel.
How your account got changed? No clue.
