Administration log on HELP!

I need to log in as the administrator of XP in normal
mode. When I tried I get an error telling me I can't log
in due to account restrictions. I can log on in safe
mode, but that won't allow me to make the changes I need
to make in a software package that is giving me a
problem. I read on the Knowledge base that XP won't let
you log in as administrator in normal mode, but only in
safe mode. Can anyone tell me if there is a way to log
in as administrator in normal mode. I try to get in by
hitting CTL-Alt-Del twice and entering the password and
that is when I get the error.

If you are running XP Home, no, you can only log into the built in Administrator account via Safe Mode. What is the program you're having trouble with. Did you check their web site for a work around?

The program is Norton Internet Security and they are
adamant that it could be done. My issue is I can not
override the parental control and all users are set so I
can not change anything. If anyone has any suggestions I
would be very grateful.
