Hello, when I installed vista, I created an account. But when I rebooted I
couldn't
see all my imported documents from my old system. So I started logging in as
Admin. I installed all my programs under admin and have been using for a few
days.
I realize I should be using a user account. The question is if I switch to a
user
account, will I have access to all the programs the I installed as an admin.

thanks

Hello,

You should have access to the programs you installed, unless you specified
durring installation that you only wanted the program available to your user
account (which generally isn't the default option).

You can use the Windows Easy Transfer Wizard to save your documents,
settings, etc to a folder on your computer, and then load them in the new
user account you create - this will allow you to easily transition from your
old account to your new one.

thanks jimmy. the problem is all my data is under the admin user. How can I
create a
new USER level account and have all the data available to it? When I tried
this before,
I had all the program access but not the data. It was all empty.

thanks
