admin user without rights?

I have a database I am trying to query in Excel and it won't work. So, I am
looking into rights. I have two databases, one front end and one back end.
I can't query off either. In the back end database, I attempted to add
rights to the Admin user for everything in the database but it says Admin
does not have rights to do this? There are no other users. What can I do?

Is this a secured database - that is, do you have to log into the database
with a username and password? If so, you will have to obtain a valid
username and password (if you don't already have this) and use it to connect
to the Access database.
