Admin right on XP

I have an XP Pro connecting to a W2K domain. There is a
Admin account on this pc and a user account that connects
to the domain.

When I go to install software, XP makes me log into the
admin local account. I have set the rights for the user
account to admin in <control panel/user account & on the
c: drive under security. It still won't let me load the
software with the user account profile. Any ideas as to
what I need to do?

The domain user account needs to be added to the local
administrators group.
