Admin password

I have a xp machine that I have forgotten its password because it has been
off the network for a while. So i took out its hd and installed it on to
another machine. Is there a way to edit SAM for that HD i forgot the passord
to?

I hope this makes sense if you need any more information please let me know

This works for me, when taking over a site from a previous Admin you usually
need something of this kind. :-/

It's a Linux bootable CD that edits the SAM database.
