How can I reset the Admin. Password. Having probles
getting the password in safe mode. Is there away to reset
it?

if your XP was pre-installed then it's 99% probable that there IS no
password. Try leaving the field blank.

Was reinstalled. Not sure but think teenage son was
trying to get on it and change password. There has to be
away to!!

Well unless you can get him to remember what he did, then I'm afraid it
looks like a repair install.
have you not got a User with Admin rights that you could use?

Don't dispare. This can be done. Do a web search for Trinity Rescue Disk. It
includes a password changer. You must burn a CD and boot from it. Or you can
go to: http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/ and download a floppy disk
image that will do the same thing. It is actually a stripped down Linux OS
that will allow you to edit passwords. Just follow the prompts.

If you can log on as any user with admin status, then you can change it
from that - Start - Run the line
control userpaddwords2
and you can select any account and reset password
