admin password

When I make a password for the administrator, there is no administrator icon
when I start the pc. The only way I can log on as the administrator is to
make the logon like the win 2000 style, where you type in the name. Is this
the way it's supposed to be ??

Yep! You shouldn't be using the built-in Administrator Account on a daily
basis anyway. Create a User account and give it Admin rights for your daily
use.

Start the computer in safe modce and the administrator
icon will then show up.
