admin password

hi,
someone gave me a comp w/ win xp pro already installed. it
has an admin password set, but the former owner doesnt
remember it. how can i remove / reset it without
reinstalling win xp?
any help will be appreciated

Do a search for John the Ripper in google. Be careful using it.
