Admin Password needs reset

My computer is having problems and I need to change the boot sequence. The
Admin password has been set and forgotten in the F2 option at startup. How do
I reset the admin password in the BIOS?

Your question is confusing. The term "Admin password" normally refers to the
password for the administrator account in Windows. To get into the BIOS
requires a completely separate password, one which has nothing to do with
the administrator account, and not even anything to do with Windows.

Which is it you are asking about? If you are asking about the BIOS password,
and it's forgotten, many motherboards have a jumper you can set to clear the
BIOS settings, including the password (check your documentation). Failing
that, you'll need to remove the CMOS battery on the motherboard to clear the
BIOS settings. Fifteen minutes or so is with the battery out is usually
sufficient, but be aware that it somes takes loneger--sometimes even much
longer.

That's not a Windows issue in any way, and you need to reset the BIOS to
clear this. Shut down the computer. Open the case and locate the battery
and remove it (about the size of a nickel or quarter). Now look for the
BIOS CLEAR jumper, often located near the battery. If you're unsure, take
the motherboard make and model number (it should be visible) and use that to
Google for the board's manual. There will be three pins with the cap over
two. Shift the cap so that it shorts the other ones, count to ten, put it
back, put the battery back in, and restart.
