have to kep doing that, I just wanna use the short cut form my desktop.

I installed Dreamweaver and all is fin, no admin questions or sillyness, I

Also everytime I do something I get a pop up window asking for permission to

Go to the control panel. Click on "User Accounts". Click on "User Accounts"
again. Turn User Account Control on or off.

And it disabled much of the user protection built into Vista in the process.
Not the best workaround.

The problem is that the program wants to run in the system environment and
not the user environment, and this needs to be changed by those who write
the program. You should contact them about when they plan on making their
software operate correctly under Vista. They may require an update or a
patch. Until then, instead of exposing your system to all of the threats out
there, instead try right clicking the shortcut and choosing properties. You
will find on the Shortcut tab/Advanced button an option to always run as
administrator. This will allow the shortcut to work as designed (though you
will still have to 'ok' the UAC prompt).

Just beware that by disabling UAC, you're disabling a fair portion of
Vistas security. Might as well go back to XP.
