Admin and password dialog box

I have installed an application (Zen Cart) on my system within a XAMPP
environment.
When I go to the admin area of Zen Cart in Internet Explorer I am asked for
a login and password.
However the dialog box has no memory of me having previously logged in and I
have to enter both every time.
Whereas on another XP computer it remembers my previous entry and supplies
the username as soon as I type the first character.
How can I reset this memory facility on the first PC?
