Adjusting the time/date

Adjusting the time/date [F-5] on NoteTab Pro is a real pain,
especially the way Fookes [the author of the program] instructs. [I am
trying to get the time/date to appear on the top [first] line, not the
second.]

I have downloaded a second copy but the problem persists. Is there a
way to fix the problem that doesn't require me to be a programmer, or
should I just forget about using NoteTab Pro on Windows XP, S.P.2?

It works fine with Windows Notepad.exe.
