Address smart tags

I am creating a template for others to use on screen. I have address
information in the footer in a text box. Part of the address, let’s say 1
High Street, has the smart tag red underlining on it. I do not want the red
underlining to appear when users’ work with the document.

I see there are options to Remove This Smart tag and Stop Recognising This
Smart tag. If I select one or both of those, will I achieve my objective?

I have wondered if there is a way to include instructions in a Style not to
recognise a smart tag in a similar way to including instruction not to check
grammar, but I can’t find it.

What is the best way out of this?

In Tools > Options > Save, you can uncheck the option "Embed smart tags" so
the smart tags from your copy of Word aren't saved in the document file. But
if the recipient has smart tags enabled, their copy of Word will recognize
and display the same tags, and there's nothing you can do about that.
