If I put a letter in the address bar and press delete all the web sites
visited beginning with that letter scroll down. How do you delete
these. I have tried remove history from internet options but these
remain

You might want to try the following:

In Internet Options, click on the Content tab.
Click on the Autocomplete button.
In the box that pops up, remove the check mark next to "Web
Addresses".
Click OK twice.

hi,

clearing the history in the internet options will delete the
history of websites which was stored that's fine and another thing u
should do that is make the 'days to keep the pages in history to
0(zero) days' this will not store any websites in the history.
