Address Error As "GMAIL.COM" Pastes as "GMAILspace.spaceCOM"

When associate sends me email addresses which he pastes into Outlook
messages, if the email address has a word in spaces are added.

For example, GMAIL.COM becomes GMAIL . COM when a space is added after the
word MAIL and another after the DOT. This means it must be edited to be used.

Also happens if words are anywhere in the address. "(e-mail address removed)"
becomes "(e-mail address removed)"

He uses Word as Outlook editor. He tells me he tried turning off
Autocomplete butno improvement.

Is there something in his Outlook settings that is recognizing words and
making them "better" by adding spaces?

Thankfully HOTMAIL.COM stays HOTMAIL.COM

When he looks at the message in its Sent Items folder, does it show with the
spaces there as well?
What if you look at the message via web based access to your mailbox?

He indicates it does not appear that way in the sent folder.

Am viewing on line (YAHOO.COM).

BTW Also adds the space for LIVE.CA addresses -> LIVE . CA
