Address box

How do I errase past searches in the "Address" box I used
to errase by simply deleting it out. When I try it, it
ignores the command is it embbeded? They were pop ups
that decited to add them selves to the past searches.
They start with the letter "t"

Click on Tools, Internet Options, Content Tab and then choose Autocomplete
in the Personal Information area. Then, clear the checkbox for Web
Addresses.
