I might be wrong (it has been known) but I thought there was an address book
facility in previous Word versions although I never used it.

Now I'd like to use it and can't find it in Word 2007. Any advice will be
appreciated.

The address book is available if you set Outlook as the default e-mail
application and is in fact a view of the the Outlook contacts list. You can
add Address Book from all commands to the QAT.

Thanks for that.

I can't find Outlook :-(

What's QAT?

If you have the Home & Student Edition, then you won't have Outlook. The QAT
is the Quick Access Toolbar. By default it's above the Ribbon and has just a
few commands, but you can move it below the Ribbon and add as many commands
as you want.

Thank you, I'll check.
