address book

I want to 'paste' the address book (unable to import/export) onto the hard
drive.

What folder is the address book located in?

In win 98, it was actually a folder named address book.

A simple search using find *.wab will get you C:\documents and
Settings\Your user name\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book

I tried to 'find' both *.wab and address book (I have show hidden files and
folders checked) - found NEITHER!

Shouldn't have made a difference since the files are neither hidden or
system files.

Any idea why 'find' failed?

I have a feling that there have been other times that I knew a file/folder
existed and find did not find it.
