Address book sync

For the longest time, I was able to sync the address book in OE 6 and
Hotmail. Now that Hotmail uses POP/SMTP, it doesn't sync anymore. Am I
simply out of luck or there alternatives?

1) This newsgroup is for Outlook, not Outlook Express, a completely different
application
2) Windows Live Mail uses DeltaSync, I believe, and can access your Windows
Live (Hotmail) contacts
