Address Book Quirk

Hi all,
When I open up my address book from within Outlook, it
opens the Select Name window. Within this window, under
the E-Mail Type column, both SMTP and FAX entries (where
entries actually have a FAX number assigned) show up. Is
there any way to just get the SMTP entries to come up
without the FAX numbers? Thanks in advance.

The prefixes are on all the fax numbers, and we tried
creating a new contact, moving the fax field, but that
didn't work. Any other suggestions?

you either need to move the fax numbers to another number field or add a
prefix in front of them. if you have a lot of fax numbers, there are
utilities that can add the prefix -

What prefix did you use? If you use "F" or "FAX", for example, Outlook will
not see the number as a fax number and won't display it.
