I pulled a real dumb move. I backed up my messages and documents and even
my FTP settings, then wiped the HD and reinstalled. I forgot to backup my
address book and outlook settings, but i backed up my entire application
data directory... are the raw DB files in there? If so, which ones?
Thanks in advance.

Steve

Outlook should have all your data (including Contacts) in a file with a .PST
extension. That file might have the hidden attribute. You can open it and
copy items to a new installation, import items, or set it as the default
PST.

Yes, I used the Pst file but it had my emails only. Fortunately I forgot my
mosty valuable backup... My Blackberry!

Thank you RIM!

It should have everything unless its
an archive (usually called archive.pst) and other info was not archived.
