Address Bar

My address bar on IE has disappeared. I can load up the
browswer, but get no Address bar or anything. I don't
know how to resolve the problem, short of re-installing
Windows 2000. Is there a way to go about this without
doing that? (For the record, if I reinstall windows, that
will be the 3rd install in 6 weeks: Once for virus, once
for needing to break my room-mates fingers for messing
with my computer and crashing it, and then this).

Thanks for help.

Hi,

Try the following:

Open Internet Explorer.

Click on View, then Toolbars.
Click on 'Address bar'.

You may also want to ensure that the address bar isn't 'squished' to one side of
the screen. If this is the case, you may want to 'pull it out', by clicking on
the edge, and while holding down the button, dragging it out.

Best regards,

Altrus

Dear Anonymous:

Try right clicking on any of the grey part of the internet
explorer where the address used to be. Then click where
it says address bar. It could just be that somehow it was
accidentally unchecked. I hope this helps.
