For easy access to a fovorite folder, I have opened Windows Explorer
and dragged that folder to the big START button and dropped it there.

Now when I press START I can click on that folder entry and that
folder opens for me.

However the problem I have is that the folder does not show the
address bar.

I can confirm that View -> Toolbars -> Address Bar is checked. If I
uncheck it and check it again then I still don't get to see an
address bar as I would expect to do normally.

Is there a way around this?

It sounds weird but try it any way. At the Top right hand
corner of your screen there the minimize button, maxamize
button and the close button. Click the minimize button
then click it again if that doesn't help try the maxamize
button. It has always worked for me.

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately it doesn't work for me. :-(
