Address bar - history dropdown

Isthere a setting in IE that controls whether past addresses are stored for
auto-competion of new address input, or for a dropdown list? We had the
ability to do this until today and it mysteriously vanished.

Hi Sandra,

In internet explorer, click on tools, select internet options. You will see
that there is a History section, and that the default for saving the web
pages is 20 days, which you can change to the amount of days that you would
like to keep the pages in history

Right click IE on the Desktop.
Click Properties > Content tab > Auto Complete button.
Recheck "Web addresses" if unchecked.
Click Ok > Apply > Ok.

Do you know if there are any viruses or other instrusions that would cause
the history to be deleted - we didn't change the setting.
