Additional mailbox notification

Hello,

I am currently managing an additional shared mailbox using outlook 2003
(mailbox on exchange server).

I would like to set up notification when messages are received in the
additional mailbox also be able to reply as the additional mailbox user.

Is there a way to do this without haveing to log onto outlook as the shared
resource?
