Additional blank spaces between Records in a Report

Hi;
We have a report based on a table having more than 1000 records at the end
of each month. As a standard, each page of this report must contain 25 records
(except for the last page). In this month,we have some additional spaces
between records,so the placed records in each page is less than 25 .In
average, each page has about 23 to 24 records. What can cause this bad
formatting of pages and how can i solve this problem?
Thank you in advance for ur help.

You have provided few clues. Since it seems to occur with every record, it
seems likely that you changed something. To help diagnose the problem, add
different colors of shading to the text boxes. This will let you see if any
of the text boxes or other controls are taking up more space than you
expect. Perhaps a header or footer is taking up space.

No,imagine a page that its rows have not equal height.
Header and footer are ok.Problem pertains to unwanted blank spaces between
rows in the detail section of the report.
For example,if DetailHeight of my report is 0.6cm and the Top property of
all text boxes in the grid is set to 0.05cm and there is no grouping level
in that page,we expect some rows of 0.6cm of height in a page ATTACHED to
each other. But irregularly we have the 1st row with 0.6cm height,2nd with
0.8,3rd with 0.7 and so on.So,the rows are not equal in height ,and finally
1 page can not contain 25 rows,as we had in previous months. This means we
have problem in formatting Detail section of the Report.Do you have a
solution?
Thanx for your attention.

You need to identify the "blank" spaces. I have suggested a way of doing
so. Is the Can Grow or Can Shrink property of your detail section or text
boxes set to Yes, or are you using fixed sizes? If you use a fixed sizes
the controls and sections will not grow, even if they are too small to
accomodate the text.
