outlook 2007 keeps deactivating my addin TEO 3 on start up. I have to enable
this Addin every time. what can I do to let outlook knows that I want the
Addin Active?

Thanks.

I would suggest telling the author of the add-in that they'll need to update
it for Outlook 2007. How is this an Outlook 2007 issue?

I'm the author and I can't reproduce it. There's nothing that should need
updating for Outlook 2007. His installation of Outlook is disabling the add
in on start every time but if he goes in and enables it manually, it works
until the next time Outlook is restarted. I have many Outlook 2007 beta
testers (and I run it myself) that do not experience this.

I suggested he file it as a bug at beta.microsoft.com.

If he is a technical tester with access to the bug reporting facilities, he
should not be posting here. That said, what other addins are installed?
Something is causing Outlook is disable it and another addin is the likely
cause.

The add-in might just not be compatible with 2007 and 2007 disables it
for a good reason?
Check Tools, Trust Center, Add-ins. See what category the add-in is,
then select that category in the box and click go. That should get you
to a dialog where you can enable the add-in.

If he's running an email A-V scanner or script stopper that could be it.
When those boogers crash they often end up getting other addins disabled.
Norton is notorious for that.

Hey Patrick, this addin is on inactive categories. and the behavior is "load
at start up". Thus, soon as I acivate it, the addin works well. Any
suggestions?

Hi Calipsy,

I think someone else pointed out already that another add-in (virus
scanner probably) might be unloading the add-in at startup. Have you
tried disabling all other add-ins to see what happens?
