Adding WordArt to a shared border

How do you add WordArt to a top shared border in FrontPage 2002? I've used a
workaround by going to Word, creating WordArt there being sure to set text
wrapping to In Line With Text, copying the WordArt from Word and pasting it
into a top shared border in FrontPage. The WordArt is saved as a separate
image file and it works but the WordArt looks grainy. All help appreciated.
There must be a better way.

Avoid using Word Art. Word Art uses VML graphics which can only be
seen in IE5.5 and later running on Windows PCs. A large number of
users (more than 25% - see
http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp) do not use IE,
those users will see a down-level poor quality image if you have
allowed that option, or nothing at all.

You can make the Word Art in Word, then copy and paste into a graphics
program (Paint is suitable if you are using WindowsXP). Crop and
optimise the image, then save for the web as a .jpg or .gif (use a
..gif if there are less than 256 colours in the image). Import the
image into FrontPage and insert where required.
