I have a new XP computer. After I add the computer to an
existing NT 4.0 Domain and login with a domain user id, I
receive an annoying informational message that I cannot
eliminate. The message is:
Windows - Registry Recovery
One of the files containing the system's Registry data had
to be recovered by use of a log or alternate copy. The
recovery was successful.
It only happens when logging into the domain, not when
logging in locally. It does not appear to hurt anything,
but it is very annoying. Any ideas?
Thanks.
