Adding sub-menus and actions to data in drop down lists in Excel 2

I'd like to add functions to the user selected data in a drop down list, i.e,
if a user selects "Family Member" from a drop down list, I want another drop
down list or create new column with list (preferred) to generate so user can
enter relationship such as Father, Mother, etc. Any help would be
appreciated.
