Hi there,
I have added a link to my Quick Access Toolbar - "Insert Picture from File".
I would now like to customize this to specify a particular picture to insert.
When I go to the Customize Quick Access Toolbar it does not allow me to
Modify this button. In MS 2003 you could do this by clicking on customise and
select Insert and then From file and from there right click on the icon and
link the picture.. how is this done in 2007?

Hi Cesare,

For the Quick Access Toolbar there is not a user interface customization available for the icons, other than to wrap them in a macro
and then use one of the 216 icons MS selected for 'customization' or the letters A-Z as an icon.

Word 2007 does not offer the option to modify the button images of in-built
commands. You can modify the button images of macro commands - but only from
the limited list of available images.

You could save the picture as an AutoText entry (Building Block). Although
you can't add specific AutoText entries to the QAT, you can add an AutoText
gallery.
