Adding scroll and/or zoom bars to Charts

We have charts that contain a lot of information and have seen charts with a scroll or zoom bar embeded, to individual charts, that enables a user to have the option to look at all the information and see point by point data. Changing the source data or formatting the axis is not want we want to do

How do i do this? Any advice appreciated.
