Excel 2007: continuously update scatter chart from scroll bars

Dear All,
In Excel 2007 I am using a scroll bar to input a range of data into a set of
equations that feeds their answers to a scatter chart to be plotted. I would
like the chart to be updated on each generated value as I scroll through the
range of values I am interested in. Unfortunately, the scatter chart only
updates on the final value sent from the slider to the equations, even though
the equations are generating new points as I slide the scroll bar. My
question is, how do I get Excel 2007 to continuously update a scatter chart
from data originally generated by scroll bars and linked to the chart via
an equation.

A scrollbar from the controls toolbox updates continuously, while a scroller
from the forms toolbar only updates when you release it.
