Adding screen savers?

I find no reference at all to screen savers in Help.
I have some images I would like to use as screen savers.
How do I make them and where do I add them to the system?

place all pictures in a folder
these would be: .jpg .bmp .gif
open display->screensaver
click [settings] button
pick [browse] button
find your folder with pictures
read/make any other changes to options
pick ok
select "My Pictures Slideshow"
select wait time and password (optional)
click ok
done----------------------
