adding placeholders

I would like to put 8 picture placeholders in a slide. I want to display 8
picts/page but if I can set a placeholder, then I don't have to reformat
several hundred pictures/graphs. Can I make a slide layout or just put in
new placeholders on an existing slide (so I can copy&paste the slide with the
blank placeholders?).
Thank David

Unfortunately, you can't create your own slide layouts or add placeholders to
slides or slide masters.

If you have the pictures as separate files, you could use one of the batch
image importing tools to insert 8/page, but I don't think that any of them
would handle graphs.
