Adding new comp to my network

I am adding a brand new computer, running win XP pro, to my network. I have
used the networking wizard with no success. However, I am able to go online.
The other computers on my network ask me to sign in to the network but this
one does not. Is there some setiing that needs changing? Any help would be
greatly appreciated!
