Adding Hyperlinks forms

I have greated a form that is 6 pages long. Not all sections need to be
filled out. I added text which I turned into a hyperlink. Of course when the
form is "locked" you can not click on the link.
What would be the best way to add a hyperlink.
I am using Word 2006
