I have to add hundreds of hours of time. Which work to certain point then stopped. Why?

Hi
you may format your resulting cell with the custom format
[hh]:mm
to prevent a rollover after 24 hours

How was your data organized? How did you try to add them? What happened when
Excel "stopped"? How do you know it stopped?
Are the times real Excel times?

A bit more info would help

Using format [h]:mm:ss. Was adding several columns and rows. When Excel stopped working, the data entered started left justifying and would not display correctly. Is there a limit on how many times you can use a custom forma
