Adding HD with W2K OS in machine with another HD with XP

Hi Folks,

I had been using a desktop with HD which has w2k installed. Now, I have
a new machine with XP installed on its hard drive. Since there is lot
of data and software, I just want to add the old HD to the new machine.
Can I just add the HD with w2K as secondary HD to the new machine with
XP? Will the new machine still operate with XP as primary OS?
Any suggestion and recommendations are welcome.

Yes, you can just add it and it XP will continue to be the default OS as
long as that drive continues to be number 1 in the boot priority, which it
should already be.
