Adding Fonts to XP

I want to add fonts to my system. I am running XP for
home. I was told to go to start, control panel and then
click on the fonts folder then click on file. When I
double click on the Font folder nothing happens. I tried
a right click and open but still nothing happens. What am
I doing wrong?

Not sure what is wrong, Mike, but following those steps
worked for me. Have you fiddled with the fonts in the past?
 
on 'file' button inside the fonts folder
<left> mouse pick to install fonts.
