Adding File Filters to Win Explorer Search

A

Does anyone remember how to add the default search filter to other (ie
not .txt) file extensions, so that the Windows Explorer Search function
can search those other files for content strings.

It involves a registry addition, but I cannot remember what, or even
where I may have kept a note of it. <g>

Hi Alan,

Add Files to "Containing text" Searches:

Or, use a third-party search tool such as "Agent Ransack" (most frequently
recommended utility in this newsgroup), or SleuthHound.

Agent Ransack.
