I am using Office 2007, and would like to add a .jpeg or .pdf file to the
body of the email (Outlook 2007), not as an attachment.

I looked up the Tips from Microsoft for sending a file, but it appears those
instructions are for an earlier version of Outlook.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your time.

Gordon, there was no message....

Eh? I gather you want to insert an object into an email message.
Then do New-Mail message, and use the Insert tab to insert an object.

If I try to insert a file, it becomes an attachment. I would like to have the
item in the body of the email. Hope I'm making myself clear.

Thanks by the way for your help on my distribution list question.

No, that's not what I said.
Do New message-Insert-Object (far R/H side). Choose "Create from File"
tab...
