Adding custome details to windows explorer

Is it possible to add custom details to windows explorer? For example, with in Windows media player it is possible to save the personal ratings with in the MP3 file, so that when the file is transferred to another computer the file will retain the personal rating. The Rating which is unique to the file is what I would like to display with in Windows Explorer. Of course the ratings are only added to the file when the Ratings migration plug-in is installed.

Any suggestions any one?

No. You can find all available columns when you right-click a column
title and select "More".

You would have to write a column extension handler. Or find one.
