Newbie

Hi,

I have changed my Win 2k pro to a XP Pro machine and I want to be able to
access all my files on a Win2000 domain.

I am totally lost - What do I need to do? I can browse the domain but I
don't log on initially. is this how it works in XP?

Totally confused . . . please help

First you need to add the users to the domain. then add
the machines to the domain.

Hi Newbie.

You can join your Win2000 domain by right click My Computer - Select
Properties. Click on the Computer Name tab and then click the Change
button.
Enter your domain name and Click Ok. Enter your credentials for joining the
domain (domain login). Reboot.
After you reboot, you should be able to login to your domain.

If you still have questions, feel free to ask.

Thanks,
